Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Telemetry

• Years of Experience: 1-2 years minimum required, including 1 year of travel experience

Education & Certifications Required:

• Required Certification: BLS
• Mandatory Education: Onboarding education specific to the facility

Unit Information:

• Number of Beds: 43
• Patient Ratios: Day Shift 1:4-5, Night Shift 1:5-6
• Equipment: Ventilators, BiPaP, CPAP, Nasal Cannula, Non-Rebreather, Epidural pumps, IV pumps, specialty beds, PCA pumps, VAC dressings, Trach care/maintenance
• EMR: Epic

Hiring Profile:

• Must Have Skills/Experience: Experience with ventilators and tracheostomies; ability to read and interpret telemetry strips.
• Preferred Skillset/Experience: Knowledge in managing a variety of acute medical conditions including respiratory, surgical, sepsis, DKA, altered mental status, and chronic conditions.
• Personality Fit: Strong teamwork, flexibility, effective communication, and a commitment to patient-centered care.
