Medical Lab Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Lab Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in a laboratory setting and possess a passion for providing high-quality patient care through accurate laboratory testing and analysis.

Schedule

• Days: Monday to Friday
• Hours: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Shift Type: 5×8-Hour

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests and procedures with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Collect and process samples, including blood and other specimens, ensuring proper techniques are adhered to.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Document and report results accurately and promptly, communicating with medical and nursing staff as needed.
• Participate in quality assurance programs and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
• Required Licenses and Certifications:
  • APTA – Neurology Certification
  • ASCP or AMT certification
• Experience in phlebotomy is required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
