Cath Lab Technologist

Position Overview

This position is for a skilled Cath Lab Technologist with extensive experience in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory environment. The role entails working Monday through Friday, from 07:30 to 16:00, without weekend or holiday responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct various catheter-based procedures, ensuring high-quality patient care and safety.
• Utilize and manage equipment and technologies specific to catheterization and electrophysiology procedures.
• Assist healthcare providers in the performance of EP procedures including ICD and PPM implants, as well as Impella procedures.
• Employ advanced imaging techniques such as IVUS and DFR during procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and inventory of the Cath Lab and related equipment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of current experience in a Cath Lab or electrophysiology setting.
• Experience with travel assignments is required.
• Proficient in operating Impella devices and conducting EP procedures.
• Familiarity with advanced imaging technologies including IVUS and DFR.

Certifications

• Current certifications in ACLS and BLS.
• ARRT Radiography (R) or CCI RCIS certification is acceptable.

Additional Requirements

• Epic experience within the last 18 months is mandatory and must be clearly detailed in the profile.
• If the Epic test-out is not successfully completed on-site, an additional 10 hours of unbillable orientation will be required.

Work Environment

The Cath Lab is closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day, with no weekend or holiday shifts required.
