Physical Therapist (PT) – Outpatient
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist (PT) to join our outpatient therapy team in an acute care hospital setting. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality rehabilitation services to patients, helping them achieve their recovery goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of patients to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Utilize various therapeutic techniques and modalities to enhance patient recovery and mobility.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment approaches and exercises to promote continued healing.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and support comprehensive rehabilitation.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Participate in staff training and development programs as needed.
Qualifications
- Current state license as a Physical Therapist (PT).
- Strong understanding of physical therapy principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Experience in outpatient rehabilitation preferred, but not required.
Schedule
This position requires a day shift schedule of four 10-hour days from 08:00 to 18:00. Flexibility may be required to meet patient needs.
