Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN)

This position is for a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) with a strong background in vascular surgery, including both open and endovascular procedures, as well as experience in plastics cases.

Position Information

• Facility Department/Cost Center: Operating Room
• Number of Openings: Numerous
• Shift: Day shifts, either 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM or 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Requirements: 1:5 weekends, 12-hour shifts
• Call Requirements: Obligation for call as needed, including overnight trauma call
• Years of Experience: Minimum of 2 years required

Education & Certifications Required

• CNOR certification preferred

Unit Information

• Number of Beds: 26
• Patient Ratios: 1:1
• Equipment: Storz, Stryker, Olympus, Intuitive Robot
• EMR: Epic

Hiring Profile

• Must Have Skills/Experience: Level 1 trauma experience
• Preferred Skills/Experience: General surgery, GU/GYN, orthopedic trauma, orthopedic joints, neurosurgery, ENT, pediatrics, plastics, dental, and endovascular
• Type of Patients on Unit: Operating Room
• Personality Fit: Must be flexible, accountable, timely, and a team player

Dress Code

• Scrub Color: Teal scrubs provided by the facility
