Vascular Ultrasound Technologist

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Vascular Ultrasound Technologist with specialized experience in vascular ultrasound. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in performing diagnostic imaging procedures, particularly in a trauma or travel hospital environment. This position requires proficiency in traditional BLS and ACLS certifications as acknowledged by the American Heart Association (AHA).

Responsibilities

• Conduct high-quality vascular ultrasound examinations.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care.
• Interpret and analyze imaging results for proper diagnosis.
• Maintain patient records and imaging documentation according to industry standards.
• Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in vascular ultrasound.
• Experience in a travel and trauma hospital setting preferred.
• Proven ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Flu vaccine required prior to start; no religious exemptions will be considered.
