Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN)

This is an Operating Room (OR) RN position focused on candidates with strong experience in vascular surgery, handling both open and endovascular cases, as well as plastics cases.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in the operating room during surgical procedures.
• Assist in both open and endovascular vascular surgeries, as well as plastic surgeries.
• Participate in call obligations as needed, including weekend rotations averaging 1:5 weekends.
• Collaborate with the surgical team and maintain a sterile environment.
• Monitor patient vitals and conditions pre, intra, and post-surgery.

Position Information

• Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM / 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Shifts: 1:4 weekends, 12 hour shifts
• Call Requirements: One overnight call from 11 PM – 7 AM for trauma call, and scheduled call as per specialty team rules
• Years of Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a relevant field

Education & Certifications

• Certifications: CNOR preferred
• Education: Relevant nursing degree and continued professional development in surgical nursing

• Preferred Skills/Experience: General surgery, GU/GYN, Orthopedic trauma, orthopedic joints, Neurosurgery, ENT, Pediatrics, Plastics, Dental, Endovascular procedures
