Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our fast-paced, high-acuity team. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and experience in an emergency room setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care to patients in a 54-bed Emergency Department.
• Assess and triage patients efficiently, managing a diverse range of medical emergencies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize EPIC for electronic health records management and documentation.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 1 year of travel nursing experience.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIH (Pending certifications accepted).
• At least 2 years of RN experience in an Emergency Room setting required.
• EPIC experience is mandatory.
• PPD two-step and flu vaccine required with no exemptions.
• Local candidates will not be considered for this position.

Shift Details

This position requires working three 12-hour mid shifts (15:00 – 03:00) in a continuously busy environment.

Weekend Requirements

• Agency team members will have flexibility in scheduling with the possibility of working up to six weekend shifts in a six-week period.
• Night shift team members may be assigned up to three Sundays in a scheduling period.
