ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Overview

The ICU Registered Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in the Intensive Care Unit. This position involves working in a fast-paced environment, requiring strong clinical skills and the ability to make quick decisions for critically ill patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs and changes in health status.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and health-related issues.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and progress.
• Participate in continuing education and training to enhance nursing skills and knowledge.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Experience in an acute care or critical care setting is preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Work Schedule

This position involves 36 hours of work per week, consisting of 3 twelve-hour night shifts, with a requirement to rotate weekends and holidays as needed.
