Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in both the IMC Acute Med/Progressive Care unit and the IMC Thoracic unit. The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care with a focus on telemetry oncology, cardiac, and progressive care nursing.

Shifts

• 12-hour shifts: 0700 – 1930
• Every other weekend rotation required
• Some holidays required, including 12/24 and 12/25
• Limited requests for time off (RTO) in the weeks of 12/22 to 1/5

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care in both the Acute Med/Progressive Care and Thoracic units
• Administer medical treatments and medications as prescribed
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and health management

Qualifications

• Experience in telemetry oncology, cardiac nursing, and progressive care (PCU, DOU, IMC, Stepdown)
• Prior transplant experience is required
• Valid WI RN license and compact RN license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA only)
• Ability to pass a telemetry test prior to starting
