Radiation Therapist

Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified Radiation Therapist to provide high-quality radiation therapy treatments to patients. The ideal candidate will possess the necessary licensure and certifications, as well as experience with specific radiation therapy equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer radiation therapy to patients in accordance with prescribed treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of patient treatments and progress.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure the safety and well-being of patients.
• Perform quality assurance checks on equipment and treatment processes.
• Provide education and support to patients regarding their treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Radiation Therapist (ARRT, CAMRT, CMRITO).
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Experience with Varian TrueBeam, Vision RT, Elekta MOSAIK, and Eclipse software.
• Familiarity with Cerner Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.

Work Schedule

This is a day shift position with variable hours, typically between 6:00 AM and 8:00 PM, and will require 5 days of 8-hour shifts per week.
