Interventional Radiology Nurse

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Interventional Radiology Nurse with current experience in interventional and cross-sectional radiology. The ideal candidate will possess skills and proficiency in the following areas:

• Peripheral IV access, Port Access, and Deaccess
• Pre/Post Recovery experience for interventional and cross-sectional interventional radiology
• Administration of IV Conscious Sedation
• ACLS and BLS certification
• Critical Care experience

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care during interventional radiology procedures
• Monitor patients pre and post-procedure, ensuring safety and comfort
• Administer IV conscious sedation and maintain patient stability
• Perform peripheral IV access and port management procedures
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Current experience in interventional and cross-sectional interventional radiology
• Proficient in peripheral IV access, port management, and post-procedure recovery
• Certifications in ACLS and BLS are mandatory
• Demonstrated critical care nursing experience required
