Job Description

The Registered Nurse will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care in the Interventional/Cross Sectional Interventional Radiology unit. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Administering peripheral IV access, port access, and deaccess procedures.
• Providing pre and post-recovery care for patients undergoing interventional radiology or cross-sectional interventional radiology procedures.
• Administering IV conscious sedation as required during procedures.
• Utilizing advanced critical care skills to ensure patient safety and comfort throughout their healthcare experience.

Qualifications

• Current experience in Interventional/Cross Sectional Interventional Radiology.
• Proficient in peripheral IV access and port management.
• Experience with pre and post-recovery processes related to IR/CSIR.
• Current certification in ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support).
• Critical care experience is required.
