Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CVOR Tech to join our surgical services team. The ideal candidate will have experience in cardiovascular, thoracic, transplant, and robotics surgeries. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment focused on delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures.
• Prepare and maintain sterile field and instruments.
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other medical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Float within the facility as needed, adhering to scope of practice guidelines.

Schedule

This position requires availability to work on weekends from Friday to Sunday.

Call Requirements

Specific call responsibilities will be discussed during the interview process.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience in a CVOR setting; first-time travelers are accepted.
• Ability to pass clinical screenings to determine clinical fit.
• Full compliance with all required onboarding processes to ensure timely start.

Time Off

The maximum allowable time off is 7 days. Travelers are expected to work at least one major holiday if it falls within their assignment, with specific expectations increasing for two or more major holidays.

Major Holidays Include:

• Memorial Day
• Independence Day
• Labor Day
• Thanksgiving/Black Friday
• Christmas Eve/Christmas Day
• New Year’s Eve/New Year’s Day

Orientation

The number of non-billable orientation hours is determined by the length of the contract. For instance, 8 hours for an 8-week assignment and 10 hours for a 10-week assignment.

Local Candidates

Locals are accepted for this position, with compensation at the same rate as travelers.
