Job Description

We are actively seeking experienced Registered Nurses for our Medical Surgical units. Candidates must be graduates of an accredited nursing program, with education verification required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to provide patient care.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to approved nursing techniques, policies and procedures, standards of care, and state laws/practice acts.
• Document care according to established standards.
• Develop, implement, and execute individualized patient care plans as prescribed by the physician and/or hospital policy, including patient and family education.
• Participate in departmental or unit performance improvement activities, which may include shared governance initiatives.
• Provide clinical expertise and guidance to other units/departments in support of the patient’s longitudinal care plan.
• Utilize critical thinking to ensure patient safety and enhance the patient experience, escalating issues as necessary through the appropriate chain of command.
