This position involves 8-hour shifts with the potential for holiday work. There is no on-call requirement, and weekends are not mandatory.

Unit Overview

Positioned within a Physical Therapy unit, the clinical role encompasses planning, organizing, and delivering physical therapy programs aimed at helping patients improve mobility, relieve pain, enhance strength, and prevent physical deformities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and deliver comprehensive physical therapy programs for patient recovery.
• Document patient assessments and progress to ensure proper evaluation and care.
• Educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans and home exercises.
• Adhere to departmental guidelines and regulatory requirements for documentation.
• Analyze patient progress and recommend necessary adjustments in therapy.
• Follow established safety procedures and regulatory standards throughout the therapy process.

Qualifications

• Possess appropriate educational credentials as mandated by state licensure requirements.
• Must hold a valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state.
• A valid driver’s license may be required in specific circumstances.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required or must be obtained within the first 60 days of employment.
