ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team. This position requires the ability to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment while floating to medical-surgical (MS) units as needed. The selected candidate will work night shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Monitor patient condition and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for coordinated patient care.
• Provide support and education to patients and their families.
• Assist in the transition of patients to medical-surgical units when needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience required.
• Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) are mandatory.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records is required.
• Willingness to float to various units as needed, including to Addison Gilbert Hospital.
• A successful completion of a pass/fail test will be assessed upon arrival at orientation, with only one attempt allowed.
• Two attempts to pass Relias testing during onboarding are required in preparation for onsite testing.
• Applicants must not have worked in a permanent capacity within the last six months.

Schedule

This is a night shift position, scheduled from 7 PM to 7:30 AM, requiring flexibility to float to other units as necessary.
