Department Overview

The Rehabilitation teams evaluate and treat patients with injuries or conditions that have resulted in a decline in self-care, physical mobility, or functional independence. The speech therapy teams assess and provide treatment for individuals experiencing difficulties with speech sounds, language, voice, swallowing, and cognition, including memory, attention, and problem-solving skills. Care is provided to adult patients with a diverse range of diagnoses in both acute and outpatient settings.

Experience/Education/Qualifications

• Current unencumbered Oregon Speech-Language Pathology license is required.
• Certificate of Clinical Compliance from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association, or active participation in Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is required.
• Ability to travel to multiple points of care is essential.
• Healthcare Provider BLS certification is required.
