Tele/PCU Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Tele/PCU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for a travel assignment. This position involves providing nursing care for patients in a telemetry and progressive care unit setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor patients’ vital signs and manage cardiac telemetry.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Respond to changes in patient condition, taking appropriate action.
• Document patient care and treatment accurately and thoroughly.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Float within scope to meet facility needs as required.

Schedule Details

• Shift: Night shifts, 3×12-hour schedule (19:00 – 07:30).
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend.
• Block scheduling is open to accommodation upon approval based on unit needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in Telemetry or Progressive Care Unit.
• Current RN license in Pennsylvania or a Multi-State/Compact RN license.
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply.

Additional Information

• Local candidates are not accepted; a radius restriction of 50 miles applies.
• All requests for time off must be included at the time of submission and will be subject to approval based on facility needs.
