Job Description

An exciting opportunity for a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse is available at an acute care medical center/long-term care facility/outpatient center. The ideal candidate will demonstrate compassionate care while ensuring high standards of practice in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Position Details

• Start Date: Early December
• Shift: 3×12 Variable
• Years of Experience: 1 year required
• First Timers: Accepted
• On-Call Requirement: No
• Weekend Requirement: Yes
• Guaranteed Hours: 60 hours per 2 weeks with the possibility of being called off for one 12-hour shift per 2 weeks

Qualifications

• Certifications Required:
  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • NRP
  • AWHONN Intermediate
• Skills Required: As per unit description
• Float Requirement: Yes, within scope to meet facility needs
• Local Candidates: Not accepted (Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility)
• Pending License: Not accepted
• RTO Restrictions: Based upon request

Housing Information

Housing accommodations are provided to travelers during the assignment. The specifics include:

• Typically 1-bedroom apartments
• Available for move-in no earlier than 72 hours before the contract begins and no longer than 24 hours after the contract ends
• Pets are not allowed
• Housing units are designed for the traveler only; additional family members require prior approval
• Units must be cleaned upon departure to avoid additional cleaning fees
