Intensive Medical Care (IMC) Nurse

Job Description

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Intensive Medical Care (IMC) Nurse with expertise in transplant care. This position will involve providing high-quality patient care and participating in the advancement of transplant-related practices. As an integral part of our team, you will be responsible for delivering compassionate and effective nursing care to patients in the IMC unit.

Shift Details

• Schedule: 3 shifts of 12 hours per week
• Shift timing: 0700 – 1930
• Weekend requirement: Every third weekend
• Holiday requirement: Must be available to work as scheduled
• Floating: Required as needed within skillset

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Intensive Medical Care (IMC)
• Transplant experience is mandatory
• First-time travelers with transplant experience are welcome to apply

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive assessments and interventions to patients
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as required
• Educate patients and families on health management and transplant procedures
