Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team on a night shift schedule. This position offers the opportunity to work with adult and geriatric patients in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a setting with an average daily census of 40-42 patients.

Contract Details

• Start Date: 11/16/26
• Contract Length: 12 weeks
• Shifts: 3×12 or 4×12 Nights (20:00-08:30)

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adults and geriatric patients.
• Maintain a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:5.
• Assist with daily operations and collaborate with the healthcare team.
• Participate in weekend and holiday shifts as required.
• Float within the specialty and to sister units as needed based on patient acuity.

Qualifications

• 2 years of nursing experience required; first-time travelers are welcome.
• Current RN license in the state of Maryland.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification.
• National Institutes of Health (NIH) Stroke Scale certification.

Attire

Scrubs should be navy blue in color.

Work Schedule

• Every other weekend is required.
• Holidays are required based on the schedule.
