General Ultrasound Technologist

About the Position

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Ultrasound Technologist to join our team. This position involves performing ultrasound imaging procedures with a focus on abdominal Doppler imaging and transplants.

Schedule

The position includes working four 10-hour night shifts from Monday to Thursday, 8 PM to 6:30 AM. There is no on-call requirement, and you may need to float between multiple locations to meet facility needs.

Qualifications

• Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience is required. Candidates must be proficient in abdominal Doppler imaging and transplants.
• Certifications: Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and either ARDMS or ARRT (S) is required.
• Education: Must have graduated from an accredited school of Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
• Licensure: South Carolina state ultrasound licensure is not required.
• First-timers Accepted: Yes, new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Miscellaneous Information

• Radius Rule: A 60-mile radius rule applies for applicants. Local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
• Time Off Restrictions: All requests for time off must be submitted at the time of application and will be evaluated based on facility needs.
• Guaranteed Hours: The facility reserves the right to cancel one shift every two weeks.
