Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical/Telemetry

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry care. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical experience and the ability to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients with a variety of health conditions.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and their families about health management and disease prevention.
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient records and documentation.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Experience in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.

Work Schedule

This position is for day shifts, working three 12-hour shifts from 07:00 to 19:30.

Additional Information

Contracted staff may be required to float to other units based on patient census and needs, ensuring staff only float to areas for which they are qualified, and have demonstrated competencies.
