CT Technologist

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our outpatient imaging team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in radiologic technology and be proficient in a variety of imaging modalities. This position involves performing high-quality CT scans and providing excellent patient care.

Schedule

• Shift: 4×10 Days, Monday – Friday
• Occasional Saturdays required
• No Sundays or Holidays

Assignment Details

• Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours per 2 weeks
• Traveler can be called off for 1, 8-hour shift per 2 weeks

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• BLS Certification
• ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications required
• Local candidates are not accepted (permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility)
• Pending licenses are not accepted

Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Start IVs, run lab I-stats, and inject contrast as needed
• Post-process images and prepare them for interpretation
• Assist with patient preparation and care during imaging procedures
• Maintain effective communication with patients to ensure comfort and understanding of procedures

Required Skills

Experience in X-Ray is mandatory, including:

• Extremities
• Abdomen/GI
• Spine/Pelvis
• Head/Chest/Thorax
• Musculoskeletal
• Lower/Upper Extremities

Preferred experience includes:

• Fluoroscopy Studies
• Enema Studies
