Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the Operating Room (OR). The ideal candidate will possess a current Kansas nursing license or hold a compact license. This position involves working in a perioperative environment and requires flexibility for on-call duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in the operating room setting.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Assist with the preparation and management of surgical instruments and equipment.
• Monitor patient vital signs and conditions throughout surgical procedures.
• Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to safety protocols.

Schedule

This position offers a 4×10 hour day schedule, with shifts from 06:30 AM to 05:00 PM. Block schedules are available for improved work-life balance.

On-Call Requirements

The RN will be required to be on-call from Monday to Thursday, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, participating in an on-call rotation as either the first or second call.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Operating Room.
• Current Kansas nursing license or compact nursing license.
• Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing practices.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
