Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a long-term care position. The ideal candidate will support residents with daily living activities and ensure their comfort and safety.

Contract Details

• Start: Any Monday, approximately 3-4 weeks from offer acceptance.
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Options for 4×12-hour nights (19:00-7:30) or 3×12-hour nights (19:00-7:30)

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including hygiene, feeding, and mobility assistance.
• Monitor and record patient vital signs and report any significant changes.
• Assist nursing staff with patient assessments and care planning.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a long-term care setting preferred.
• Travel experience is a plus.
• Flu vaccine is required. Medical exemptions will be reviewed; religious exemptions are not accepted.
• Candidate must be able to work within a 75-mile travel radius, at local rates with restrictions on contract length.
