Surgical Technologist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Surgical Technologist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will assist in surgical operations by preparing and maintaining the sterile field, as well as handling instruments and supplies necessary during procedures.

Schedule

• Days: 10-hour shifts
• Hours: 06:30 – 17:00
• No scheduled weekends
• Weekend call required from Friday 06:30 to Monday 06:30 (currently 1 in 4)
• Holidays as needed

Responsibilities

• Assisting in various surgical procedures and providing support to the surgical team
• Cleaning and preparing surgical instruments and scopes
• Pulling case cards for scheduled surgeries
• Maintaining a sterile and organized environment in the operating room
• Contributing to overall team efforts and communication

Qualifications

• Successfully completed a surgical technologist program, or two years of relevant experience as a Surgical Technologist may be considered in lieu of program completion
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – AHA only
• Willingness to work on gastrointestinal (GI) cases
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
