Medical Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a qualified Medical Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Resource Pool. The Ideal candidate will be flexible and willing to float between multiple locations as needed to meet patient care requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in the medical surgical telemetry unit.
• Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient care activities in compliance with facility standards.
• Participate in mandatory on-call shifts during holiday coverage.

Qualifications

• Current RN license with at least 1 year of nursing experience; 2 years preferred.
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIH.
• Ability to float within assigned units as needed.
• Must pass arrhythmia and medication tests on the first day; may require shaving for a fit test.

Work Schedule

Full-time hours are guaranteed based on the signed contract. The nurse will be scheduled primarily at the assigned location, with the potential to float as needed based on patient care requirements. Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Additional Information

• All requested time off (RTO) must be included in the initial submission. Late requests will not be considered.
• A maximum of two missed shifts per 13-week contract without a reasonable explanation is permitted.
• Local candidates within a 75-mile radius will not be accepted.
• Pending licenses may be accepted, provided the candidate obtains their license prior to starting.
