Operating Room/Surgical Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Operating Room/Surgical Technologist with strong orthopedic experience to join our team. As a vital member of the surgical service team, you will assist in providing high-quality patient care in the operating room setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain surgical instruments and equipment for orthopedic procedures.
• Assist surgeons and other members of the surgical team during procedures.
• Ensure the operating room is sterile and ready for procedures.
• Maintain accurate records related to surgical procedures and instruments used.
• Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures.
• Float within the scope of practice to meet facility needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of experience as a certified surgical technologist; 2 years preferred.
• Strong expertise in orthopedic surgical procedures required.
• National certification through NBSTSA or NCCT is preferred but not mandatory.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Must be nicotine-free; a negative 10-panel drug test, including nicotine, is required.

Schedule and Availability

This position involves a day shift, working 4 ten-hour days. Weekend requirements and scheduling options will be discussed during the interview. All requests for time off (RTO) must be included at the time of submission.

Additional Information

• Travelers must be available and open to floating to sister facilities to meet patient care needs.
• All new team members must prioritize time-sensitive training modules once confirmed for an assignment.
