Cardiac Telemetry RN

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cardiac Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in cardiac telemetry, PCU, IMC, and step-down units.

Job Details

• Shift: 3×12 (18:45 – 07:15)
• Contract Length: 13-26 weeks available
• Weekend Shifts: Required (5-6 over a 6 week period)
• Patient Ratio: 1:5-6
• Floating: Required as needed

Job Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac patients on a fast-paced telemetry unit.
• Administer and manage cardiac drips including Dobutamine, Amiodarone, Cardizem, Milrinone, Dopamine, and Diltiazem.
• Perform sheath pulls and TR band applications.
• Participate in the Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team as necessary, responding to catastrophic events or disasters.

Required Skills/Certifications/Experience

• ACLS, BLS, & NIHSS certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in cardiac telemetry or related areas.
• First-time travelers are accepted.
• Strong background in cardiac telemetry, PCU, IMC, and step-down experience.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Orientation

A 24-hour orientation will be provided for successful candidates.

Scrubs

Navy scrubs are required for this position.

Additional Information

MUST pass EKG testing prior to starting for this specialty. An interview will be conducted prior to finalizing the offer. Local candidates are also accepted.
