Surgical Technologist

Assignment Details

This is a 13-week assignment for a Surgical Technologist. The position offers a schedule of 36 hours per week, consisting of four 9-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Call Requirements

The Surgical Technologist will be required to take call shifts, which may include both weeknights and weekends. The call schedule includes:

• One weekend every 6 to 7 weeks
• One weeknight call shift per week

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist is required.

Responsibilities

The Surgical Technologist will support surgical teams by preparing operating rooms, maintaining sterile environments, and assisting during surgical procedures. Key duties include:

• Preparing and organizing surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment.
• Assisting with patient positioning and draping.
• Maintaining a sterile field and adhering to safety protocols.
• Collaborating with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient surgical operations.
