Emergency Care Physician

We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Care Physician to join our team in Bridgton, ME. This role offers the opportunity to work in a critical access facility providing a range of medical services to the community.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality emergency medical care to patients of all ages.
• Perform thorough evaluations and assessments; order and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Stabilize and prioritize treatment for patients with complex medical issues.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals and emergency staff.
• Participate in training and education programs for medical staff and community health initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine.
• Active medical license to practice in the state.
• Previous experience in a high-acuity emergency care setting is preferred.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

This facility is a 25-bed critical access hospital offering 24/7 emergency care, medical-surgical services, oncology, hematology, podiatry, orthopedics, cardiology, diagnostic services, radiology, and diabetes education to the community of western Maine.
