Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Critical Care Float team. This position involves providing exceptional care across various ICU specialties including Neuro ICU, Cardiothoracic ICU, Burn ICU, and Trauma Surgery. Our nurses are integral to delivering high-quality patient care in high-pressure environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in multiple ICU units.
• Utilize advanced critical thinking skills to assess patient conditions and implement appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute individualized patient care plans.
• Monitor and record vital signs, and manage updates to patient charts and records.
• Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and practices.
• Educate patients and their families on health conditions and post-discharge care.

Shift Details

This position involves working night shifts consisting of three 12-hour shifts each week, from 19:00 to 07:30, with a rotation that includes every other weekend and some holidays.

Qualifications

• Valid Wisconsin RN license or compact RN license is required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory (American Heart Association only).
• Experience in multiple ICU unit settings is preferred.
• Candidates must pass a telemetry assessment prior to clearance for start.
