Surgical Technologist

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team. The Surgical Technologist will be responsible for assisting in the operating room by preparing surgical instruments, maintaining sterile environments, and providing support to the surgical team.

Schedule

• 12-hour shifts: Friday, Saturday, Sunday
• Shift hours: 06:30 AM – 07:10 PM
• Orientation: First two weeks, Monday – Friday, 06:40 AM – 03:10 PM
• Holidays on weekends will be covered by the scheduled shift
• Manager is open to considering 4×12 hour shift options

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain sterile supplies, instruments, and equipment for surgical procedures
• Assist in positioning patients and ensuring their safety during procedures
• Collaborate with the surgical team to facilitate efficient workflow
• Participate in patient care within the scope of practice
• Adhere to all safety, quality, and regulatory standards

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of scrub experience required
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) is required
• Successful completion of a Surgical Technologist program, or two years of experience in a Surgical Technologist role may be considered in lieu of completion of the program
• Experience in General, GYN, GU, Transplant, or Orthopedic surgical specialties is preferred
