Long Term Care Registered Nurse (RN)

The Long Term Care Registered Nurse (RN) position involves providing essential nursing care in a supportive environment focused on patient well-being. This role requires flexibility in scheduling as shifts are varied and may include weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and administer treatments.
• Administer medications and notify physicians or nurse practitioners of pertinent patient information.
• Assist with admitting and discharging patients as needed.
• Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Manage Gastrostomy Tube care, Urinary Catheter care, and other specialized treatments.
• Deliver Nebulized treatments and care for Wound Vac and CPAP patients.
• Provide Tracheostomy care and other nursing duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS/BCLS) certification is mandatory.
• Active State of Hawaii nursing license required prior to the start of the assignment.

Additional Information

• Shifts will be 8 hours in length with variations in scheduling.
• Flexibility to cover holidays is required.
• This position may involve working in multiple locations within the region.
