GI Lab Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced GI Lab Registered Nurse to join our outpatient team. This is a full-time position with a Monday to Friday schedule from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Enjoy a favorable work-life balance with no weekends or on-call responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct pre-operative assessments and prepare patients for procedures.
• Monitor patients in the post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) following procedures.
• Assist with various GI lab procedures and ensure optimal patient care and safety.
• Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals as needed.
• Educate patients and their families on procedure preparation and aftercare.

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a GI lab, pre-operative, and PACU settings is required.
• Strong patient assessment and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
