Emergency Department (ED) Boarder Registered Nurse (RN)

An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse (RN) to work in the Emergency Department (ED) Boarder unit. The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in the ED or Acute Stabilization Unit (ASU) area.

Responsibilities:

• Provide care for border patients in the ED or ASU area.
• Float to Medical/Surgical (MS) and Telemetry units as needed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.
• Must have completed at least 1 travel assignment.
• Current certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) are required.
• Successful completion of the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms.
• Experience in MS/Telemetry nursing is required.
• Cerner system experience is preferred.

Work Schedule:

• Night shift: 3×12 hours (19:00 – 07:30).
• No weekends, holidays, or on-call shifts required.

Additional Requirements:

• All employees must receive the Flu vaccine.
