Registered Nurse (RN) – Inpatient Rehab/Med Surg

Position Overview

We are seeking dedicated and experienced Registered Nurses for our Inpatient Rehabilitation and Medical Surgical units. The successful candidates will provide high-quality patient care, optimizing rehabilitation outcomes and managing complex medical conditions.

Scheduling Details

• Shift Hours: 3x12s, days, 7a – 7p
• Weekend Requirement: May be every other weekend or 6 shifts in a 6-week scheduling block
• Holiday Requirement: Must work one holiday per 13-week contract
• RTO, Block & Special Scheduling Requests: All requests must be included upon submission
• Call Off Policy: Facility may call off 1 shift every 2 weeks
• First-Time Travelers: Accepted
• Locals Accepted: No radius rule applies
• Pending License: Accepted if from a non-compact state; requires a single-state license

Certifications Required

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• CRRN (Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse) preferred
• CPI Blue Certification highly preferred

Clinical Skills Required

• Experience in Medical Surgical and Rehabilitation settings
• Proficient in peripheral line care/management
• Knowledgeable in nasal cannula, non-invasive airway management, oxygen administration, and infection control precautions

Unit and Floating Details

• Patient Ratios: 1:6, may flex to 1:7
• Common Patient Diagnoses: Stroke, Spinal Cord Injury, Traumatic Brain Injury, Amputation, Multi-Trauma
• 33-bed adult Medical Surgical unit (no telemetry)
• Nurses may be required to float to other units as necessary
