Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our 30-bed acute care unit specializing in Neurosurgery and Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery. This unit operates with a patient ratio of 1:4, ensuring high-quality patient care and support.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the acute care setting.
• Adhere to established protocols and procedures while maintaining patient safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and perform necessary interventions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment plans.

Work Schedule

This position is for night shifts, specifically 3×12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The schedule includes every other weekend, and the successful candidate must be willing to work two out of three winter holidays.

Please note that block scheduling cannot be accommodated or guaranteed.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
• BLS and NIHSS certification required.
• Experience using Epic electronic medical record system is essential.
• In compliance with the float policy within the organization.

Time Off and Holidays

Time off can be approved up to 40 hours. Please note that requests for time off during Christmas cannot be accommodated.
