Occupational Therapy Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide exemplary therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. This role involves assisting patients in the development and restoration of functional independence while adhering to state and federal regulations as well as facility guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement therapy interventions in accordance with the Occupational Therapist’s plan of care.
• Accurately and timely document patient progress.
• Assist with patient and family education to promote understanding and engagement in the therapeutic process.
• Communicate patient status and progress to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols to ensure a safe and effective environment.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Possess an active state Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license or the ability to obtain one.
• Strong teamwork and patient care skills are essential for this role.
