Registered Nurse (RN) – Pediatrics

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse with expertise in both adult and pediatric medical surgical care. This position is located in an 8-bed Pediatric unit combined with a medical-surgical floor for adults, requiring a solid foundation in both specialties.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate nursing care to both adult and pediatric patients.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort during their hospital stay.
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize EPIC software for patient documentation and management.
• Adhere to established nursing protocols and practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a pediatric nursing role.
• Current BLS and PALS certifications are required.
• Experience with adult medical-surgical nursing is essential.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Schedule and Requirements

• Night shift position (3×12 hours: 18:30 – 07:00).
• Every other weekend is required.
• One request for time off (RTO) is allowed.
• Guaranteed hours: 40 per week.
• No on-call duty is required.
