Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a winter staffing need. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to patient care in a dynamic environment, requiring a commitment to excellence in nursing practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Float as necessary to PACU, step down, and ED for the care of holding patients.
• Administer medications and perform treatments in accordance with established protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Monitor and assess patient progress, documenting care and any pertinent information.

Qualifications

• Experience: 2-3 years of relevant nursing experience required.
• Licensure/Certification: Current Massachusetts nursing license (candidates can apply at time of offer).
• Certifications: CPR (AHA), ACLS (AHA) required.
• Additional Skills: Experience in ventilator management, vasoactive and sedation titration, hemodynamic monitoring, and cardiac dysrhythmia recognition and management preferred.
• CCRN certification is preferred.

Work Schedule

This position requires 12-hour night shifts with every other weekend scheduled. Please note that only one holiday off request will be accepted, along with a maximum of three days of request time off.

Orientation Requirements

All candidates must successfully complete PASS/FAIL ECG/Tele Test and Medications Test during Day One orientation.

Additional Information

This role is suited for both locals and travelers, with floating requirements to support care across various units as needed. Epic experience is required.
