Registered Nurse (RN) – Pediatrics

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse in pediatrics for a day shift position. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to pediatric patients, particularly those requiring specialized attention.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administering care to pediatric patients, including those with tracheostomy, ventilator needs, and central line management.
• Collaborating with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitoring and documenting patient progress and responding to changes in patient condition.
• Providing patient and family education on care and treatment plans.
• Maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.

Qualifications:

• MUST possess at least 12 months of permanent experience in the specialty of pediatrics.
• Current Ohio nursing license or a valid compact state license in hand.
• AHA or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications are required.
• Experience in tracheostomy care, ventilator management, and central line care is essential.
• Must be willing to work at least every other holiday.
• Completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate during orientation, with an acceptable score on both assessments required.

Schedule:

This position requires a day shift, working three 12-hour shifts per week, from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. There are no block schedules.
