Registered Nurse (RN) – Pediatrics

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with a focus in Pediatrics to join our team for night shifts. This role requires strong clinical skills and experience in pediatric care, particularly in critical environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients.
• Manage care for patients with tracheostomies, ventilators, and central lines.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and quality of care.
• Participate in patient assessments, monitoring, and healthcare planning.
• Document all patient interactions and maintain accurate medical records.
• Assist in the development of patient care protocols and guidelines.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and procedures.

Qualifications

• MUST have at least 12 months of permanent nursing experience in Pediatrics.
• Experience with tracheostomy, ventilator, and central line management is essential.
• Must possess a permanent RN license in Ohio or a compact state.
• Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS & PALS certification is required.
• Candidates must be willing to work at least every other holiday.
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation is mandatory.
