Emergency Room Nurse

Job Overview

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Emergency Room Nurse. The position requires candidates to possess hands-on experience and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure positive patient outcomes.
• Assess, plan, and implement nursing interventions based on patient needs.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress and response to treatment.
• Maintain a high standard of nursing practices and patient safety protocols.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Room setting.
• Current certifications in BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support).
• Ability to pass an arrhythmia and medication test on the first day of employment.
• Must live at least 75 miles away from the facility.
• Must obtain a pending license prior to starting the position.

Work Schedule

Availability for holiday shifts is required, with options for on-call assignments or additional shifts within a specified timeframe. All requested time off (RTO) must be included at the time of submission; late requests will not be accommodated.

Attendance Policy

Please note that an attendance policy is in effect. More than two missed shifts during a 13-week contract may result in contract review and potential cancellation.
