Registered Nurse (RN) – MS/Tele

Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Surgical Specialty unit specializing in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing. This role requires a compassionate and skilled professional who is ready to support patients with a variety of medical needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including assessments, medication administration, and the development of individualized care plans.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and manage telemetry equipment to assess cardiac patients effectively.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate optimal patient care.
• Float to other units or facilities as needed to meet patient care demands.
• Participate in weekend coverage, completing shifts as required by unit needs.

Qualifications

• Current South Carolina RN license.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing is preferred.
• Experience in Telemetry, ER Holding, and Cardiac Telemetry is advantageous.
• Proficiency in EPIC documentation system is required.
• Familiarity with Omnicell medication system is preferred.

Schedule

This position offers a 3×12-hour shift schedule, operating from 07:00 to 19:30. Flexibility in scheduling, including floating between units and weekend coverage, is required based on the needs of the unit.
