Registered Nurse (RN) – MS/Tele

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in MS/Tele to join our Acute Care for the Elderly (ACE) unit. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 1 year of clinical experience, particularly focused on geriatric patient care.

Scheduling Details

• Shift Hours: Night shifts, 3×12 hours (19:00 – 07:30)
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• RTO/Block & Special Scheduling Requests: All requests must be included at the time of submission
• Call-off Policy: Facility may call off 1 shift every 2 weeks
• First-Time Travelers: Accepted
• Local Candidates: Accepted with radius rule limitations
• License Requirement: Must possess an active SC or multistate nursing license

Required Certifications

• BLS
• ACLS

Clinical Skills Required

• Experience in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry nursing
• IV starts and blood product administration
• Management of central, peripheral, and PICC lines
• Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Remote telemetry monitoring
• Knowledge of heparin protocols and telemetry-capable care
• Proficient in geriatric-focused care

Unit Details

• Patient Ratios: 1:5
• Unit Capacity: 26 beds dedicated to elderly patients requiring telemetry-capable care
• Focus: Maintaining cognitive and physical function for higher risk elderly patients to promote recovery

Floating Requirements

While staff are primarily assigned to their home unit, agency staff may be required to float to other areas as needed based on qualifications and documented competencies.
