MRI Technologist

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team for a 13-week contract position with the possibility of extension. The ideal candidate will have experience in MRI technology, particularly with Siemens equipment, and possess strong skills in Cardiac MRI.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans on patients as per established protocols.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Administer IV contrast as needed and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver quality imaging services.

Schedule

This position offers a flexible schedule of 3×12-hour shifts, with daytime hours from 06:30 AM to 07:00 PM. Candidates have the option to work every other weekend or choose a weekend warrior schedule.

Qualifications

• One year of MRI Technologist experience is required; first-time travelers are welcome.
• Current state licensure and certifications in ALCS and BCLS are mandatory.
• Proficiency in starting IVs is necessary.
• Experience with Siemens MRI systems is preferred, and expertise in Cardiac MRI is a plus.

Attire

The dress code for this role includes black, hunter green, or khaki scrubs.

Electronic Medical Records

Familiarity with Cerner EMR systems is beneficial.
