Shift Details

• Schedule: D/E
• 4, 10-hour shifts
• 40-hour weeks
• Hours: 0630 – 1700

Required Qualifications

• Prior experience in Catheterization Lab (Cath Lab), Interventional Radiology (IR), and Electrophysiology (EP)
• Washington State Radiologic Technologist License
• Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology or Cardiovascular Technology
• One of the following certifications: ARRT, RCIS, CI, HRE, or RCES
• BLS and ACLS certified

On-Call Requirement

Participation in on-call duties as required.

Essential Functions

• Utilize fluoroscopy equipment, Epic EMR, and MERGE hemodynamic systems within the labs.
• Accept patients and assess their conditions to determine appropriate handling and special requirements.
• Orient patients to the lab environment, including equipment and the procedures being performed.
• Leverage extensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and disease processes for optimal patient positioning to achieve maximum diagnostic information.
• Maintain fluoroscopy equipment, contrast injectors, and other relevant devices in optimal working condition.
• Perform various clerical tasks, including verification of information and exams conducted using Epic and PACS.
• Update exam descriptions to accurately reflect procedures performed.
• Properly account for all medical and surgical supplies utilized during procedures.
• Fulfill all responsibilities and tasks as required in Cath, IR, and EP labs.
• Set up necessary equipment according to established standards; prep and scrub for procedures using sterile techniques.
• Document hemodynamic readings according to established protocols for each procedure.
• Remain accountable for adhering to departmental standards, protocols, and procedures while continuously updating skills.
